We are so confident that our members will make savings on their foreign currency purchases that if you don't save your whole membership fee we'll refund the difference at the end of the year
We continuously compare our rates with those offered by our competitors on the High Street to ensure we offer our members great value. Each time a member places an order, we calculate the cost of buying the same amount of currency from each of 5 competitors - a high street bank, a bureau de change, a supermarket, a travel agent and the Post Office - based on a rate they advertised to the general public online within 15 minutes of placing the order. We then maintain a running total of the sum of the smallest and largest savings, to demonstrate the range of savings available if you had shopped around on the High Street.
Our Moneyback Guarantee means that if the largest saving you could have made was not at least the amount you paid for annual membership at the end of your last subscription, we'll refund the difference. So if you saved £30-40 and paid £60, we'd refund you £20.
The only condition is that you bought at least £2,500 of currency from us over the year.
Claiming the refund is quick and easy too. If you have renewed your membership already, you have 28 days to claim the refund simply by clicking the button in the membership page on the app or website. Otherwise you can email firstname.lastname@example.org requesting the Moneyback Guarantee refund, and we'll start the claim on your behalf.
We'll attempt to refund the difference to your current subscription payment source, and if that fails we'll contact you to arrange a bank transfer or Paypal payout.
The price for comparison is the exchange rate excluding any processing, transaction or delivery fees.
You are eligible to claim under the Guarantee if:
Your subscription was paid up-to-date at the end of the subscription period
You start a claim within 28 days of the last subscription period ending
Your savings range showed the biggest saving as being less than the amount you paid for your subscription for that period
You paid more than £0.01 for your subscription
How do we calculate the value of the refund?

We maintain a running total of the sum of the smallest and largest savings, to demonstrate the range of savings available if you had shopped around on the High Street.
If you receive a refund for any reason, we will deduct any element which is refund of currency fees by returning to the competitor rates captured at the original time of order.
If the sum of the largest competitor savings at the end of the subscription period is less than the total amount paid for the subscription, the refund value is the difference between the subscription fee and the sum of the largest saving.
What is the claim process
Login to the app or website, go the membership page, and view the Lifetime Savings section. If the date is within 28 days of the end of a completed subscription period, and a refund is due, a "request refund" button will be available.
Click "request refund" and we will confirm the refund due and process the payment.
If you have not renewed your subscription, you must email email@example.com within 28 days of the end of the subscription period requesting a refund under the Moneyback Guarantee.
We will attempt to process payment against your current subscription payment source. If we are unable to automatically process the payment, we will contact you by email to confirm payment by bank transfer or Paypal payout. This will be completed within 14 days.
Your refund will be confirmed by email once successfully completed, and a credit note provided.
How to complain about a declined claim
If we decline your claim, you are entitled to contact the Advertising Standards Authority to raise a formal complaint (see https://www.asa.org.uk/Consumers/How-to-complain.aspx).
TravelMoneyClub.co.uk may withdraw this Guarantee at any time, although it will continue to apply to all paid up subscriptions active at the time of withdrawal until the end of that subscription period.
